How can I help dress the poor?

Unlike most developed nations, there are a plethora of individuals without proper clothing in many parts of Africa. It is our desire to connect the underprivileged with well wishers who have donations to give. We work with other charity organizations (including churches) in setting up events that allow donors to hand off clothes they do not use anymore (but still in good condition). When these clothes are in bulk, we organize shipping of the donations to Africa where we will gift individuals without proper clothing with something to wear. How can I fund a student for their studies?

You do not need to be a millionaire to be able to hand out a scholarship? Do you know that some schools in Africa are as cheap as $20 per year yet some students cannot afford it? Are you a willing giver and are compelled to sponsor a child’s education for maybe a term, a year or even more? Here is how you can do it.

We collect student information and post it on our Instagram and Facebook. We then articulate why the student cannot pay their fees and how much their fees is. A donor can then reach out to the organization to get in direct contact with the student. Donors can choose to pay the fees to the schools of these children directly OR with the help of our organization. The donors have every right to ask how their funds were used and to check on the progress of their student’s study status.

What are the money donations used for?

Our focus is to give philanthropists around the world a limitless helping hand. Ergo, donors have the right to tell us exactly what they want their donations used for. We will strictly abide by the donor’s wishes. For donations without a subject on how they should be used, the following shall be how the donations are used:

  • Logistics : It takes money to transport the clothing (or what you decide to give) from you to the isolated African community that you would like to give. If you do not provide the organization with express charges, we will use money from random donators.
  • Compensation : Some individuals might volunteer to ease the free flow of goods and those who would want to maintain the social media platforms. A compensation for helping us would be gratifying to them and motivational for them to keep working with us.
  • Advertisements : For the page to have a greater reach, and thus for us to have more donors to keep the organization going, advertising via our social media platforms is statutory. You probably found out about this philanthropic service via a social media ad reach out! Some of the donations will be used to make more donors aware of this philanthropy-oriented platform.

    • How can I become a volunteer?

    Do you like what our organization is doing and are compelled to contribute by being a volunteer? Great! There are many ways you can be of help to us. What charity organization works without volunteers? You (together with our donors) are the engine of our organization. We are on a constant lookout for volunteers to help us to:

  • Connect to charity organizations : Do you know any charity organization that might be interested in sending clothes to dress people in Africa? Are you in an international church in the diaspora and would like to organize your peers to give the clothes they do not use anymore and send to Africa? If you identify with any of the points above, don’t hesitate to send us a message so we can help you help people.
  • Connect to the people in need : Do you know anyone in a great ordeal and in need of help? Any child who cannot afford to go to school in Africa? Help us connect to the families so that we can find potential helpers? So far, we only work in Southern Africa where we can verify the people in need of help.
